The sun always shines in Colbie Caillat’s music.
The Southern California native channels a bright and brilliant energy within everything she does. It’s a big part of the reason she’s garnered two Grammy Awards and sold over six million albums and ten million singles worldwide. Among her achievements, breakout single “Bubbly” became “one of the best-selling digital tracks in history” and her multi-platinum debut COCO hit #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart upon release, while her sophomore set Breakthrough landed at #1.
On 2011’s All of You, collaboration with super producer Ryan Tedder [OneRepublic], “Brighter Than The Sun”, reached platinum status and saw over twenty film and television placements as the album accumulated praise from People and NY Post. A year later, she warmed up the holidays with her very first Christmas record, Christmas in the Sand, which boasted duets with Brad Paisley and Gavin Degraw among others. However, Caillat’s light sparkles brightest within her fourth full-length album for Republic Records due out in 2014.
With the shimmering single “Hold On” also produced by Tedder, she takes her breezy sound to the dance floor with an anthemic hook and pop prowess. It’s simply a prelude of what’s on the horizon for the songstress though.
Outside of music, she continually gives back. Caillat remains an outspoken supporter of the Surfrider Foundation, Save The Music, Farm Sanctuary, and The Humane Society of the United States.
Get ready for her to shine like never before this year.
