The 19th Live in the Vineyards music celebration opened Thursday night, November 2nd at the Castillo di Amorosa. Our guests were treated to bites, wines, and a surprise performance music superstar, Fergie, who took to the stage outside the courtyard of the medieval 13th Century looking castle. She performed an acoustic set of five songs before attendees were whisked away to a sit-down dinner.
On Friday we headed to Peju Winery for a live musical performance by AJR. In the late afternoon, a grand tasting was held at the Westin Verasa with wines represented from over 25 Napa wineries and paired with delicious bites prepared by Chef Ken Frank of LaToque. Later that evening we headed to the Uptown theatre for performances from Julia Michaels, ZZ Ward, HAIM, Lindsay Ell, and Sara Evans.
Saturday morning we headed to Sutter Home Winery where music enthusiasts from across the country, music industry professionals and other special guests attended a luncheon concert that featured appetizers, wine pairing and an intimate acoustic performance by multi-platinum Grammy Award-winning Recording artist, LeAnn Rimes.
The music celebration then concluded at the historic Uptown Theatre with an amazing line up of musical talents including Keelan Donovan and Flagship, Magic Giant, Ocean Park Standoff, David Shaw and Zack Feinberg of The Revivalists and The All-American Rejects.
Evans, Paslay, Ell and Decker joined Live in the Vineyard as part of a new partnership with the Academy of Country Music that will include more events throughout 2018 and beyond.
